Message from your President,
ASHA is moving forward in its accomplishments as well as its future plans. We have reorganized our office procedure and at this time Sue Coulter is handling the day-to-day office inquiries and the bookkeeping phase of the ASHA, as well as the communication with our members. Dean Jenson is helping with the QuickBooks, and Janet Long is taking care of the registrations and issuing papers. She is also working on a computer program to enhance record keeping and recording of the Shire horse registrations, similar to Heavy Horse. It all seems to be operating rather smoothly, and in 3 to 6 months we will see how Janet is progressing with the program and will assess its future at that time.
I want to thank them for their time and effort in cleaning up many issues we had within our association preparing and carrying us forward to whatever destination we decide to follow in the future.
