Welcome once again,
The hope that comes with spring is at hand. Foals have been coming, days are getting longer, and the hope for a good year is before us. As we plan our year, there is much to prepare for. Plowing the fields, teaching new foals to lead, and selecting a show string, really not much different then any other business.
The annual members meeting with education day and the board members meeting brought much light to the Shire horse and this organization. The time that the education day presenters invested is priceless. The oppor-tunity that ASHA gives to its members continues to grow with the invest-ment in those that hold the future of the Shire horse. A special thank you to the many that put our education days together, and for the help with financial means to accomplish such a program. Thank you to the Ameri-can Shire Horse Educational Foundation and the Shire Horse Foundation.
